During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 military games on a unified platform in South America showed diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics of the gaming market in the region.
Call of Duty®: Mobile from Activision Publishing, Inc. exhibited a downward trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $347K in the first week of January and dropping to around $163K by late January. However, it saw a resurgence in February, peaking at $268K, and ended the quarter with $233K. Weekly downloads for the game started strong at 264K but dipped to 167K by early March, with a slight recovery to 183K by the end of the quarter. The game maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 2.2M and 2.5M throughout the quarter.
Top War: Battle Game by River Game HK Limited saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, starting at $34K, dipping to $22K, and peaking at $42K in mid-March. Weekly downloads experienced a significant drop from 35K in January to just 5K by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 83K to 50K over the same period.
Arena Breakout: Realistic FPS from Level Infinite showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 187K in mid-January but then stabilizing around 109K by late March. Revenue peaked at $38K in late January and saw a general decline, ending the quarter at $21K. Active users started at 516K and saw a significant increase, reaching 640K by mid-March.
Standoff 2 by AXLEBOLT LTD experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at $29K in early January, peaking at $41K in early February, and ending at $20K by late March. Downloads saw a decline from 92K to 44K over the quarter. Active users peaked at 1.1M in mid-January and remained above 900K for most of the quarter.
Blood Strike - FPS for all from NetEase Games, released in mid-March, showed a remarkable entry. Weekly downloads surged from 350K in early March to nearly 616K by the end of the month. Revenue increased steadily from $16K to $39K in the same period. Weekly active users saw an impressive rise from 1.1M to 1.7M.
