In Q1 2024, the top five paid games on a unified platform in Ireland showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an analysis of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Minecraft from Mojang saw a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue showed fluctuations, peaking at around $9.4K at the start of January and closing the quarter at approximately $8K. Downloads decreased steadily from 864 in the first week of January to 251 by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 73.3K and ending at 69.9K.
Ninja Kiwi's Bloons TD 6 experienced modest revenue, with weekly earnings ranging between $498 and $646, peaking in mid-March. Downloads saw a significant reduction, from 197 in early January to 23 in the last week of March. Active users showed a slight decline from 1.16K to 850 over the quarter.
My PlayHome by PlayHome Software Ltd had consistent revenue growth, starting at $493 and reaching $688 by the end of March. However, downloads were minimal, with a small spike of 4 downloads in mid-March but otherwise negligible activity.
My PlayHome School showed a steady increase in revenue throughout the quarter, beginning at $251 and peaking at $747 in the last week of March. There were no notable downloads recorded during this period.
Lastly, My PlayHome Hospital also from PlayHome Software Ltd, followed a similar trend with revenue starting at $318 and reaching $650 by the end of March. Like its counterparts, this app did not record any significant download activity.
