In the first quarter of 2024, the US personal finance app market has seen notable trends in downloads and user activity. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a closer look at the top five budgeting and planning applications on a unified platform.

Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets started the quarter with downloads peaking at 560K, gradually declining to around 140K by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar downward trajectory from approximately $205K to $209K, while weekly active users decreased from 2.2M to 1.8M.

EveryDollar: Personal Budget showed an interesting pattern, with revenue spiking mid-January at $251K, dipping to $157K in early February, and then rising again to $211K by the quarter's end. Downloads and weekly active users followed a more consistent path, with downloads hovering around 30K–38K and active users staying between 330K and 350K.
