In the first quarter of 2024, the top real-time strategy apps in Mexico showcased varying performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is a detailed overview of how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Clash Royale from Supercell showed strong weekly revenue with a peak at approximately $158K in the first week of January. The app experienced fluctuations, dropping to around $69K by the end of January before rebounding to $142K in early March. Weekly downloads for the app remained robust, averaging around 78K to 99K throughout the quarter, while active users started at 6.8M, dipped slightly mid-quarter, and ended at around 7.2M.
Voodoo's Mob Control experienced steady weekly revenue, peaking at $8.7K in mid-February. The app’s weekly downloads saw a significant increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching nearly 95K by the last week of March. Active users mirrored this growth, starting at 190K and climbing to 237K by the end of the quarter.
The Battle Cats by ponos corporation displayed varied weekly revenue trends, peaking at $6.5K mid-January but seeing a general decline to around $2.3K by mid-March. Downloads for the app showed a significant spike to 25K in mid-January but settled to around 6.5K towards the end of the quarter. Active users started at 55K, peaking at 67K mid-January, and then gradually decreased to 41K by the end of March.
Riot Games' TFT: Teamfight Tactics saw modest weekly revenue, with a notable increase to $6K in the last week of March. Downloads were relatively low, peaking at 1.7K in the same week. Active users showed a consistent trend, starting at 33K and ending at around 34K by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Warcraft Rumble from Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. had a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at $5.1K in the first week of January but dropping to around $1.7K by the end of March. Weekly downloads were initially strong at 5K in early January but saw a significant decline to just 97 by the end of February. Active users showed a slight decrease from 23K to around 18K over the quarter.
