In the first quarter of 2024, the top five shopping apps in Denmark demonstrated varied performance metrics on a unified platform, highlighting different trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting at 34.5K in early January and dropping to 29.5K by the end of March. However, the app experienced a steady increase in weekly active users, peaking at 243K in the last week of March from 176K at the start of the quarter.
Vinted: Sell vintage clothes enjoyed a notable rise in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads grew from 9.7K to 17.9K, while active users increased from 66.8K to 115K over the same period.
Lidl Plus experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, rising from 4.7K at the beginning of January to 16.1K by the end of March. The app also maintained a strong active user base, growing from 178K to 225K during the quarter.
SHEIN - Shopping Online had a relatively stable performance in terms of downloads, fluctuating between 5.8K and 9.3K. Active users showed minor fluctuations but ended the quarter slightly higher at 103K compared to 105K at the start.
Netto+ | Scan&Go saw moderate growth in downloads, with numbers increasing from 4.7K to 7.6K. The app's active user base remained fairly consistent, ending the quarter at 40.5K, up from 38K in January.
