In Q2 2024, the top 2D realistic games on the Android platform in the United States showcased interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Evony: The King's Return experienced substantial revenue fluctuations, peaking at approximately $2M in late April. Downloads saw a significant spike in the last week of June, reaching around 62K. Active user numbers followed a generally upward trend, culminating in about 239K by the end of the quarter.
June's Journey: Hidden Objects had a steady revenue stream, averaging between $600K and $700K weekly, with a slight increase towards the end of June. Downloads showed a declining trend, starting at about 20K and dropping to around 15K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, ending at approximately 202K.
Puzzles & Survival showed consistent revenue performance, hovering around $600K to $750K weekly. Downloads varied, peaking at approximately 29K in late May. Active users exhibited a slight increase, ending the quarter at around 78K.
Rise of Castles: Ice and Fire had a mixed revenue performance, with a high of about $557K in late April and a low of around $313K in early June. Downloads were relatively low, with a notable increase to approximately 5K in the last week of June. Active users showed an upward trend, ending the quarter at around 22K.
Last Shelter: Survival experienced varied revenue, peaking at around $465K in early April and reaching approximately $393K by the end of June. Downloads spiked significantly in mid-June, reaching roughly 32K. Active users increased sharply towards the end of the quarter, peaking at about 50K.
