In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 air travel apps on Android in Latin America demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends.
LATAM Airlines had notable download numbers, starting at approximately 43K in early April and peaking at about 51K in the first week of June. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, fluctuating between 250K and 270K throughout the quarter.
Flightradar24 Flight Tracker saw consistent revenue, with weekly earnings ranging from $4.9K to $6.3K. Downloads peaked at around 35K in late April, with a slight decrease to approximately 22K by the end of June. The app had stable weekly active users, averaging around 320K to 340K.
Azul experienced steady download activity, with numbers ranging from 19K to 27K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 100K to 113K throughout the quarter.
Viva Aerobus showed a consistent download pattern, with a noticeable increase in mid-May, reaching about 28K. Weekly active users saw a peak of approximately 83K in mid-May, followed by a slight decline to around 75K by the end of June.
Latam Pass | Brasil had a steady increase in downloads, starting from 18K in April and peaking at 24K in early June. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, starting from 160K and reaching approximately 200K by early June.
