The second quarter of 2024 has been eventful for dinosaur-themed games on the Android platform. Here's a look at how the top five contenders fared during this period, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.
Dino Transform Robot Games, from Robot Life Games, saw its downloads peak at 2.8M in late April, followed by a decline to 1.5M by the end of June. Weekly active users started strong at 4.6M but saw a decrease to 4M by the quarter's close.
Jurassic World™: The Game by Jam City, Inc., experienced a steady revenue stream, starting at $1.5K and spiking to $2.8K in early June. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 2.4M in mid-June, while active users surged from 13K to 14.7K mid-quarter, ending at 14.1K.
Studio Wildcard's ARK: Survival Evolved showed modest revenue growth from $128 to $295, with downloads peaking at 3.2M in April. The game's active user base grew significantly from 2.6K to 8.3K in April, before stabilizing around 5.7K by June.
SeaMo Entertainment's recently released De-Extinction: Jurassic had a strong debut with revenues reaching $2K in May. Downloads hit a high of 2.5M in late April, but saw a decline to 453 by the end of June. The active user count peaked at 1.4K in mid-May, but dropped to 543 by quarter's end.
Lastly, Primal Conquest: Dino Era from 37GAMES garnered a revenue of $1.4K at the start of April, dipping to $835 by the quarter's end. Downloads saw a high of 2.3M in mid-April, while the weekly active users experienced a high of 2.1K in late April, ending at 1.7K.
