As we dive into the second quarter of 2024, Sensor Tower provides us with a snapshot of how the top food delivery services on Android have performed across Europe. Let's take a closer look at the trends for each app based on downloads and weekly active users.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw its downloads start strong at 160K in the first week of April and peak at 183K mid-April, before a gradual decline to 125K by the end of June. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 4.2M and declining to 3.7M over the quarter.
Glovo: Food Delivery and More experienced a steady rise in downloads, beginning at 83K and reaching 119K by late June. The app's weekly active users steadily grew from 2.1M to 2.3M, showcasing consistent user engagement throughout the quarter.
Yemeksepeti - Food & Grocery had a varied downloads pattern, with a spike at 119K in the second week of April, followed by fluctuations and concluding at 82K. The app's weekly active users saw an overall decline from 2.2M to 2.1M.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a relatively stable download count, starting at 81K and ending the quarter with a boost to 96K. The app's weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 3M to 2.9M by the end of June.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more showed consistency in its downloads, hovering around the 70K-86K range throughout the quarter. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 729K and ending at 742K, indicating steady engagement.
