The second quarter of 2024 showcased diverse performance trends for the top five health and fitness apps on the Android platform in Europe. Here's a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends according to data from Sensor Tower.

Health Tracker saw a significant decrease in weekly downloads, starting from around 260K in early April and dropping to approximately 76K by the end of June. The app's weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $493 in mid-April before falling to about $235 by late June. However, the number of weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at roughly 1.5M and ending at approximately 1.66M.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering between 157K and 181K. The app did not generate any revenue during this period, but its weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at about 3.2M and ending at approximately 3.2M.

Step Counter - Pedometer from Hitchhike Tech experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of about 181K in early June. Weekly revenue also showed a positive trend, peaking at around $325 by the end of June. The app's weekly active users started at approximately 554K and ended slightly lower at around 582K.

The other Step Counter - Pedometer from Leap Fitness Group saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of about 237K in early April. Weekly revenue varied but generally trended downward, from around $856 at the start of the quarter to about $875 by the end. However, the app maintained a large base of weekly active users, starting at roughly 4.3M and ending at approximately 4.3M.

Lastly, Health Kit experienced a sharp decline in weekly downloads, plummeting from around 298K in early April to just about 4.9K by the end of June. Despite this, the app's weekly active users showed a slight recovery towards the end of the quarter, rising from about 729K in early April to approximately 486K by late June.
