During the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 lifestyle applications on the Android platform in Australia showed notable performance metrics. These insights, provided by Sensor Tower, highlight trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these popular apps.
Life360: Live Location Sharing experienced a consistent increase in revenue, starting from around $11.8K in early April and peaking at approximately $29.1K by mid-June. Downloads also saw a steady rise, beginning with roughly 6.5K in the first week of April and reaching around 11.8K by the end of June. Weekly active users grew from about 292K to 359K over the quarter.
Design Space: DIY with Cricut maintained stable revenue throughout the quarter, fluctuating between $9.5K and $11.5K. Downloads remained relatively low but steady, with a slight increase from 411 in the first week of April to 405 by the end of June. Weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at 6.7K and ending at 6.2K.
Flatmates had a consistent revenue stream, ranging from $4.2K to $5.2K throughout the quarter. Downloads varied slightly, beginning with 1.2K in early April and reducing to 886 by the end of June.
PsychicBook - Psychic Readings showed a decline in revenue from $5.3K at the start of April to around $4.2K by the end of June. Downloads remained low but stable, hovering around 63 to 90 throughout the quarter.
TP-Link Tapo saw an upward trend in both revenue and downloads. Revenue grew from approximately $2.9K in early April to around $4.6K by the end of June. Downloads also increased from 2.5K to 3.3K over the same period. Weekly active users rose from 17.5K to 20K by the end of the quarter.
