In Q2 2024, the performance of the top medical apps on the Android platform in Kenya exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at each app's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
My NHIF from the National Hospital Insurance Fund saw a fluctuating yet overall positive trend in weekly downloads. The app peaked at 12.7K downloads in the week of June 3 and maintained a strong presence throughout the quarter. Active users similarly showed positive movement, peaking at 66.5K in the week of June 10.
Smart Access ! by Smart Applications International Limited experienced a variable trend in downloads. Weekly downloads ranged from a low of 1K in early April to a high of 3K in mid-June.
CHIS Kenya 2.0 from the Ministry of Health Kenya - ICT had modest download numbers, peaking at 1.6K in early May.
My Calendar - Period Tracker by SimpleInnovation showed consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $15 in early June. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight decline towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users also saw a minor decline, dropping from 4.8K in early April to 4K by the end of June.
Dr. Blood Pressure: BP Tracker by Healthy Care Technology AI Lab maintained steady download rates, peaking at 117 in mid-June. Notably, active users saw a significant increase, jumping from 665 in early June to an impressive 2.9K by mid-June.
