State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

Merge games continue to entertain and engage mobile users, and Q2 of 2024 has been no exception. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the performance of the top 5 merge games on the Android platform during this period. Here’s a snapshot of their trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.
Travel Town - Merge Adventure from Magmatic Games LTD saw a peak in downloads in late April with over 1M downloads, but experienced a downward trend, ending the quarter at 281K. Weekly active users mirrored this decline, starting at 5.8M and finishing at 2.9M. Revenue showed fluctuations, with an initial 821K, dipping to 464K in May, and closing at 493K.
Seaside Escape®: Merge & Story, another title by Microfun Limited, maintained a steady revenue stream throughout the quarter, ranging from 165K to 267K. Downloads showed some variability, with a notable spike to 742K at the end of April. Weekly active users grew from 2.4M to 2.9M by the end of June.
Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story from Microfun Limited had an impressive quarter with weekly active users increasing from 17M to 27.5M. Downloads saw a significant jump, peaking at 2.5M in the last week of June. The revenue for Gossip Harbor fluctuated, starting at 751K and ending the quarter on a high note with 802K.
Alice's Dream : Merge Games by Gaming Laboratory had a noteworthy increase in weekly active users from 937K to 867K, despite no new downloads recorded for the quarter. Revenue showed a slight upward trend, ending at 138K.
Lastly, Merge Dragons! from Zynga, demonstrated resilience with revenue ranging from 62K to 105K. Downloads varied with a peak of 349K in late April and a low of 71K in late May. Weekly active users saw an increase in mid-June, reaching 1.5M, but closed the quarter at 1.2M.
