In the second quarter of 2024, several merge games have shown varied performance on the Android platform in the US. Here's a look at how five popular merge games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Travel Town - Merge Adventure from Magmatic Games LTD witnessed a decline in weekly revenue from $2.2K to $1.3K. Downloads peaked at 686K in late April but gradually decreased to 298K by the end of June. The game's weekly active users ranged from 2.1M to 1.7M throughout the quarter.
The narrative-driven Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story by Microfun Limited showed a more stable revenue pattern, with earnings fluctuating between $901 and $1.1K. The game's downloads saw a slight increase over the quarter, ending with 217K in the last week of June. Active users remained strong, with a high of 3M in mid-June.
Microfun Limited's second game in the top five, Seaside Escape®: Merge & Story, experienced a revenue range from $543 to $742. Downloads saw a significant drop from 870K to 222K. Weekly active users saw an overall decline but spiked at 1.2M towards the end of the quarter.
The classic Merge Mansion by Metacore Games Oy saw its revenue start at $292 and peak at $744 before settling at $537 by quarter's end. Downloads remained fairly low, with the highest at 105K in the first week of April and a low of 34K in mid-June. Weekly active users demonstrated a gradual decrease from 2.5M to 1.9M.
Lastly, Merge Hotel Empire: Design by GreenPixel Ltd displayed a revenue trend with a mid-quarter peak of $548 before dropping to $260. Downloads began at 110K and saw a dip to 51K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users started at 286K and showed a slight decline to 189K in the final week of June.
