Merge games continue to captivate users on the Android platform, and the second quarter of 2024 has seen varying levels of engagement and success across the top games in this genre. Sensor Tower's data delivers crucial insights into the performance of these applications in the US market.
Travel Town - Merge Adventure by Magmatic Games LTD showed a steady increase in revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at $16K in early June. Downloads hit a high of 1.7K in the second week of April but gradually decreased to 1.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a consistent rise, growing from 5.1K to over 7K.
SayGames Ltd's Cubes Control, while not generating revenue, maintained a steady base of weekly active users, starting at 1.8K and ending the quarter at 1.7K. Downloads fluctuated, with a spike to 700 in early May, before settling around the 300 mark towards the end of June.
Star Merge: Merging Match Game from Plummy Games OU demonstrated an impressive revenue growth, climbing from just over $1.5K to $5.5K in early June before settling at around $3K by the quarter's close. The game's downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 265 and 430, with weekly active users showing a healthy increase from 928 to 1.8K.
Another title from SayGames Ltd, Evolution Merge - Eat and Grow, also reported no revenue but experienced a peak in downloads at 513 in mid-April. Weekly active users saw a peak of 1.2K in mid-April, with a slight decrease to just under 1K by the end of June.
Lastly, Merge Inn - Cafe Merge Game by Original Games Pte. Ltd. saw revenue decline from $1.3K to under $500 by the end of June. Downloads peaked at 476 in mid-April and showed a minor rebound to 315 in late June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 2.2K to 2.1K.
