In the second quarter of 2024, five standout games in this category have shown varying performance trends on the Android platform in the United States. The data, courtesy of Sensor Tower, provides a snapshot of downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for these engaging applications.
Travel Town - Merge Adventure by Magmatic Games LTD maintained a steady increase in revenue throughout the quarter, ending with $8.5K in the last week, up from $8.7K in the first. Weekly active users peaked at over 20K in mid-June, although downloads saw a gradual decline, dropping to 1.3K by the quarter's end.
Evolution Merge - Eat and Grow, developed by SayGames Ltd, did not generate revenue this quarter. However, it experienced a slight uptick in downloads in early April, reaching 921, and maintained a steady base of weekly active users, ending with around 1.6K.
Plummy Games OU's Star Merge: Merging Match Game saw its revenue fluctuate, with a notable increase toward the end of the quarter, achieving $2.4K in the last week. Downloads remained stable with a slight downward trend, and active users numbered over 2.5K throughout most of the quarter.
Another SayGames Ltd title, Cubes Control, showed no revenue but experienced a spike in downloads to 714 in late April, followed by a decline. Weekly active users peaked at over 2.1K before dropping off to around 1.6K.
Lastly, Bounce Merge by Geisha Tokyo, Inc. witnessed modest revenue numbers, with a high of $41 in late May. Downloads surged to 845 in the final week of the quarter, and active users also saw an increase, reaching 1.8K.
