Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Slovakia Q2 2024
The top navigation and maps apps in Slovakia for Q2 2024 showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Notably, Waze and Mapy.cz led in user engagement, while Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps saw significant revenue growth.
In the second quarter of 2024, the top five navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Slovakia exhibited notable trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here, we provide a detailed overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 1.6K in early April and reaching over 2K by the end of June. Weekly active users also rose steadily from approximately 27.6K to 31.6K over the quarter. Despite the growth in user base, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.
Mapy.cz: maps & navigation experienced consistent download activity, with numbers fluctuating between 1.2K and 2K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users increased from 8.3K to 9.4K, indicating a healthy engagement rate. Similar to Waze, Mapy.cz did not report any revenue for Q2 2024.
Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps showed a mixed trend in downloads, peaking at 1.4K in late May before dropping to around 1K by the end of June. However, the app demonstrated significant revenue growth, starting at $1.9K in the first week of April and reaching nearly $3.9K by the last week of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 2.3K mark.
Live Earth Map: GPS Navigation had a very dynamic quarter, with downloads peaking at 2K in mid-May and then declining sharply to 268 by the end of June. Revenue was minimal, totaling $8 for the entire quarter. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 4.4K in late May and decreasing to just over 3K by the end of June.
Google Earth maintained a steady download rate, ranging between 600 and 800 downloads per week. The app’s weekly active users showed slight fluctuations, ending the quarter with around 4.9K users. No revenue was reported for this period.
