In the second quarter of 2024, the Pair Puzzle category on Android saw interesting trends in the US market. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a close look at how five leading apps performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Triple Match 3D, from Boombox Games LTD, showed a consistent revenue pattern, hovering around the mid-50K USD weekly, with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter. Downloads began at 3.3K and saw a rise to 3.4K, while weekly active users started at 25K and also saw an increase to 25K by the end of the quarter.
Match Factory!, developed by Peak, experienced a notable growth in revenue, starting at 1.2K USD and reaching 53.8K USD. Downloads showed a significant spike from 18K to 33K in mid-April, later stabilizing around 15K. Weekly active users followed suit, beginning at 3.5K and soaring to 63K.
From Spyke Games, Tile Busters: Match 3 Tiles observed a revenue range starting from 22K USD and descending to 12.5K USD. Downloads saw fluctuations, peaking at 1.5K, while weekly active users had a high point of 29K before settling at 23.6K.
Moon Active's Zen Match showed a gentle decline in revenue from 15.5K USD to 10.9K USD. Downloads started at 2.7K and had an upturn to 1.3K, whereas the weekly active users count decreased from 27.7K to 16.8K.
Lastly, Tile Family®:Match Puzzle Game by Playflux registered revenues starting at 9.6K USD and decreasing to 5.8K USD. Downloads initially were at 9.1K and experienced a peak of 19.6K, with a subsequent drop to 8.4K. Weekly active users exhibited a high of 126K, with a slight dip to 111K towards the quarter's end.
