2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In Q2 2024, the top 5 personal finance budgeting and planning apps on the Android platform in Hungary demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s an overview based on data from Sensor Tower.
Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker from BudgetBakers saw a fluctuating trend in revenue, starting at approximately $114 in early April and peaking at $136 in mid-May, before settling around $52 by the end of June. Downloads ranged between 61K and 117K weekly, with a notable increase towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users experienced a decline from 1.2K in early April to about 900 by late May, before slightly recovering to 958 by the end of June.
YNAB reported a stable revenue pattern, peaking at about $100 in late April and early May, with a slight dip to $29 in mid-June. Download numbers were relatively low, with a peak of 54K in late May and an average hovering around 25K. The active user base remained consistent, ranging between 75 and 96 weekly active users throughout the quarter.
Splitwise showed a steady increase in downloads, starting at 237K in early April and reaching 427K by the end of June. Revenue also saw an upward trend, peaking at $50 in early June. Weekly active users trended positively, rising from 1.4K in early April to 1.8K by the end of the quarter.
1Money: expense tracker budget experienced varied revenue, peaking at $70 in early May before descending to $17 by the end of June. Downloads showed improvement, peaking at 55K in early June. Active users saw a slight decline from 700 in early May to 502 by the end of the quarter.
Spendee Budget & Money Tracker had a modest revenue performance, peaking at $52 in late June. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 49K in late May. Weekly active users saw a peak of 315 in early May, followed by a reduction to 251 by the end of June.
