In the second quarter of 2024, the UK's Android platform saw notable performances from physics puzzle games. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the top five contenders in this genre.
Screw Puzzle: Wood Nut & Bolt by FALCON GAMES saw a steady increase in revenue, starting at $1.6K in the first week of April and reaching $3.9K by the end of June. Downloads peaked at 24.6K in late April, while weekly active users reached a high of 57.9K in the last week of June.
Zego Studio's Wood Screw Api showcased a consistent rise in revenue, from $2.7K to $3.4K over the quarter. Downloads hit their highest at 25.6K in late April, and weekly active users grew impressively from 48.5K to 95.9K.
From ABI Games Studio, Wood Nuts & Bolts Puzzle generated the most revenue among the top five, with a peak of $9.7K in the first week of April, although it showed a gradual decrease to $4.4K by late June. The game's downloads started strong at 17.6K but saw a slight decline, while active users showed growth, finishing at 134.8K.
Lion Studios' The Superhero League, despite its modest revenue figures, which hovered around $50-$78 throughout the quarter, had a significant number of downloads and active users. Downloads were highest at 9.3K in early April, and weekly active users reached a peak of 39.7K in late May.
Lastly, Woodle - Wood Screw Puzzle, also by Zego Studio, showed revenue growth from a mere $16 to $1.7K by the end of the quarter. Downloads and active users both saw an upward trend, with downloads peaking at 7.3K and active users hitting 18.2K in late June.
