As we set sail into the second quarter of 2024, let's dive into the performance of the top pirate-themed games on the Android platform in Latin America, with data provided by Sensor Tower.
Sea of Conquest: Pirate War, published by FunPlus International AG, saw a fluctuating trend in downloads starting from around 18K in the first week of April and dipping to 9K towards the end of June. Weekly active users peaked at 84K in the second week of April but generally showed a slight downward trend, ending at 76K in the last week of June. Revenue, however, showed a more pronounced decline from $17K to $9K over the quarter.
JOYCITY Corp.'s Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW experienced a decrease in downloads, starting the quarter with around 5K and ending with less than 1K. Weekly active users saw a steady decrease from 12K to 7K, while revenue saw small peaks and valleys, ranging from $1K to $2K throughout the quarter.
The publisher BELKA GAMES released Roger That: Merge Adventure!, which had no downloads recorded in the first three weeks of April but then spiked to over 3K in the first week of May. Weekly active users increased from 3K to over 6K in mid-May but then gradually decreased to around 3K by the end of June. Revenue followed a similar pattern, peaking at $427 in early May and ending at $318 in the last week of June.
Playtika's Pirate Kings™️ had no new downloads recorded throughout the quarter. Yet, the revenue showed an increasing trend in May, hitting a high of $378, then slightly decreased to $190 by the end of June. Active user data was not available.
Lord of Seas: Survival&Conquer, developed by Atlas Studio Co., Ltd., had a dramatic surge in downloads in the third week of April with over 8K downloads, followed by a sharp decline to nearly no downloads by the end of June. Weekly active users reached a peak of 28K in late April, with an overall downward trend finishing at 19K. Revenue saw an increase from $148 to $240 throughout the quarter.
