In Q2 2024, the poker game landscape on the Android platform has shown varying performance metrics across the top 5 games in the US. Here’s a breakdown of their achievements based on data from Sensor Tower.
Zynga Poker- Texas Holdem Game from Zynga saw a steady increase in revenue, peaking at $301K in late April before tapering down to $173K by the end of June. Downloads for the game followed a similar pattern, starting at 72K and reaching a high of 128K, while weekly active users surged from 394K to a high of 511K, eventually stabilizing at 448K.
WSOP Poker: Texas Holdem Game by Playtika began the quarter with $129K in revenue and experienced fluctuations, concluding with $82K. Downloads were more consistent, with an impressive increase from 145K to a peak of 219K, before a slight drop to 185K. The game’s active users showed growth from 558K to a peak of 747K, then a slight decline to 684K by quarter’s end.
Wonder People's Mega Hit Poker: Texas Holdem saw its revenue oscillate, starting at $78K and reaching $109K in early June. Downloads spiked in late May at 144K, with weekly active users reflecting a similar trend, increasing from 249K to 436K before dropping to 353K.
For Governor of Poker 3 - Texas, also by Playtika, revenue started at $84K and saw a mid-quarter dip, recovering to $98K in mid-June. Downloads saw a modest increase from 39K to a high of 80K, while active users showed a significant uptick from 388K to 463K, before slightly receding to 455K.
Lastly, Outerdawn Limited's RallyAces Poker had a varied revenue pattern, starting at $59K, with a notable peak at $153K in late May. However, the game did not record any downloads for the majority of the quarter, which suggests a focus on engaging the existing user base, which saw active users at times throughout the quarter.
