During the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 sandbox games on the Android platform in Brazil showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a detailed look at each game's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Roblox saw significant activity throughout the quarter. Revenue steadily increased, peaking at approximately $225K in the first week of June. Downloads fluctuated, reaching their highest point at around 679K in mid-June. Weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, starting at 20.3M in early April and ending at 22.2M by the end of June.
Craft World - Master Block 3D experienced a varied download pattern, with a peak of about 235K in late May before a dramatic drop to zero by the end of June. Weekly active users also fluctuated, peaking at approximately 912K in early June before decreasing to 666K by late June.
Craft Box Game Tree had a mixed performance. Downloads reached a high of around 319K in late May but saw a sharp decline to approximately 57K by early June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at about 568K in late May and then decreasing to around 370K by the end of June.
Minecraft Trial showed a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 96K in early April and rising to approximately 175K by late June. Weekly active users also increased steadily, starting at 1.4M and reaching approximately 1.6M by the end of the quarter.
Minecraft Pro demonstrated a steady download rate, with a notable peak of around 192K in the final week of June. Weekly active users showed fluctuations, peaking at approximately 1.1M in early June before settling around 950K by the end of the month.
