During the second quarter of 2024, the top sandbox-like games on the Android platform in Russia demonstrated notable performance trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Roblox saw a significant increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting with 152K downloads in early April, the game experienced a peak of 215K downloads in mid-June. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from 9.3M in the first week of April to 10.2M by the end of June.
Melon Sandbox maintained a steady number of downloads throughout the quarter, with notable peaks of 104K in the second week of April and 99K in mid-June. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 1.3M in early April to 1.4M by the end of June.
Block Craft 3D: Building Game experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting with 84K in early April and dropping to a low of 35K by the end of May, before recovering to 58K in the last week of June. Active users saw a slight decline from 598K in the first week of April to 492K by the end of June.
Craft World - Master Block 3D had a mixed quarter in terms of downloads. The app began with 87K downloads in early April, dipped to 46K by mid-June, and did not show any download data for the final week of June. Active users also fluctuated, starting at 225K in early April and ending at 152K by the end of June.
Craftsman: Building Craft showed a steady increase in downloads from 51K in early April to 79K in the last week of June. Active users also grew steadily from 681K in early April to 922K by the end of June.
