In the second quarter of 2024, the sci-fi game genre showed varying performance trends on the Android platform in Spain. Here are the key insights for the top 5 games, based on Sensor Tower data.
Doomsday: Last Survivors from IGG.COM saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, peaking in mid-April with approximately 33K downloads and experiencing a low of around 4.6K in early June. Revenue showed a steady performance, starting at $11.7K in early April and ending at $13.4K in late June. Weekly active users (WAU) also showed variability, with a notable increase from 29.9K in early April to 56.7K by the end of June.
Last War: Survival Game by FirstFun demonstrated a consistent upward trend in revenue, starting at $41.9K in early April and reaching $65.5K by mid-June. Downloads peaked at 16.8K in early May but saw a decline to 8.9K by the end of June. WAU increased steadily from 99.8K in early April to a peak of 152K in mid-June, indicating strong user engagement.
Among Us from Innersloth LLC maintained a stable download rate, with a notable increase from 9.8K in early April to 15.4K in late June. Revenue remained relatively low, with a peak of $415 in early June. WAU showed significant growth, starting at 39.2K in early April and reaching 56K by the end of June.
Spider Fighting: Hero Game by Zego Studio had consistent download numbers, ranging from 7.1K in early April to 6.6K by the end of June. Although revenue was minimal, peaking at $8 in mid-June, WAU remained strong and stable, fluctuating around the 80K-87K mark throughout the quarter.
That's Not My Neighbor by TravConsult Games, a newer entry, showed a rapid increase in downloads, peaking at 32.3K in mid-May. WAU also rose significantly, from 1.5K in early April to 32.9K by mid-May, before stabilizing around 27.2K by the end of June.
