In Q2 2024, the top five social apps in Panama on the Android platform experienced diverse performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each app.
Throughout the quarter, TikTok showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $8.6K in the week of April 22. Weekly downloads saw a notable rise mid-quarter, reaching 11.3K in the same week. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users gradually increasing from 624K at the start of April to 648K by the end of June.
BuzzCast faced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 829 in early April to 169 by the end of June. Despite this, the app's weekly revenue remained relatively stable, with a slight peak of $878 in late May. Active users saw a downward trend, starting at 9.6K and concluding at 7.2K.
Instagram experienced consistent weekly downloads, with a peak of 11.5K in mid-April. Weekly revenue fluctuated slightly, reaching a high of $740 at the end of April. The app’s active user base remained robust, fluctuating between 2.01M and 2.09M throughout the quarter.
Grindr’s weekly downloads remained fairly stable, ranging from 490 to 554 throughout the quarter. Revenue varied, peaking at $694 in late May. The app’s active user count showed minor fluctuations, starting at 14.7K in early April and ending at 12.9K in late June.
Bigo Live saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $541 in mid-June. Weekly downloads also trended upwards, reaching a high of 2.05K in early June. Active users increased steadily from 10.5K at the beginning of April to 12.5K by mid-June.
