In the second quarter of 2024, the top five air travel apps on iOS in Costa Rica demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance:
avianca saw its downloads fluctuate, starting at 575 in the first week of April and peaking at 640 in the second week. By the end of June, downloads tapered to 536. The app maintained a steady number of weekly active users, hovering around 1.5K to 1.6K throughout the quarter.
Copa Airlines experienced relatively stable download numbers, ranging from 326 to 444. Active users also remained consistent, with slight variations between 1.2K and 1.3K over the quarter.
Volaris had a steady increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching 413 in the last week of June. Active users showed a similar trend, increasing from 937 in early April to 972 by the end of June.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker demonstrated a strong performance in revenue, peaking at $432 in the last week of June. Downloads and active users also saw an upward trend, with weekly downloads reaching 389 and active users peaking at 2.7K.
Spirit Airlines had a modest number of downloads, ranging from 201 to 287 throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 621 and 749.
