In the second quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five city building games on iOS in the Czech Republic showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. This data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers key insights into the market dynamics of these popular games.
The Simpsons™: Tapped Out from Electronic Arts experienced fluctuating revenue throughout Q2, peaking at around $1.4K in the first week of June. Downloads ranged from 148 to 241 per week, with a slight decline towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 5K.
SimCity BuildIt, also from Electronic Arts, saw revenue peak at approximately $1.2K in the last week of May. Downloads varied significantly, with a low of 86 and a high of 412 per week. Weekly active users saw an increase, reaching 3K by the end of June.
Transport Tycoon Empire: City by Alda Games s.r.o. had revenue fluctuations, peaking at around $653 in mid-April. Downloads spiked at 967 in the same week but generally trended downward. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, peaking at 1.2K and then stabilizing around 650-700.
Isekai:Slow Life from Mars Era Limited had a more modest performance. Revenue peaked at $623 in early April, while weekly active users remained consistent at around 125-130. Downloads were minimal, mostly hitting zero throughout the quarter.
Global City: Building Games by MY.GAMES B.V. experienced a significant increase in revenue, peaking at around $557 in early June. Downloads saw a peak of 739 in late May. Weekly active users increased steadily, reaching a high of 871 in early June before tapering off to around 375 by the end of the quarter.
