The second quarter of 2024 has seen an interesting mix of trends for the top co-op games on iOS in Germany. Here’s a closer look at how these games have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, based on Sensor Tower data.
Squad Busters, by Supercell, launched at the end of May and immediately saw a significant impact. The game started strong with nearly 692K downloads in its first week. However, downloads decreased steadily, ending the quarter with approximately 31K downloads in the final week of June. Revenue followed a similar pattern, peaking at around $469K in its launch week and declining to about $242K by the quarter’s end. Weekly active users also saw a decline from 520K to 183K over the same period.
Brawl Stars, another popular title from Supercell, showed fluctuating trends. Revenue peaked in late April with about $1.1M and saw a decline towards mid-June, with a slight recovery to $709K by the end of June. Downloads maintained a relatively stable trend, peaking at 104K in late April and ending the quarter at 44K. Weekly active users showed a slight decrease from 1.02M in early April to 944K by the end of June.
Pengu - Raise Virtual Pets, developed by SLAY GmbH, experienced a surge in popularity. Downloads saw a substantial increase, peaking at 88K in late May before stabilizing around 41K by the end of June. Revenue followed an upward trajectory, reaching $4.3K in the last week of June. Weekly active users also grew significantly, starting from 13K in early April and reaching 166K by the end of June.
Roblox by Roblox Corporation maintained a steady performance throughout the quarter. Revenue ranged between $174K to $259K, showing consistent engagement. Downloads remained stable around 23K, with slight fluctuations. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase from 541K in early April to 585K by late June.
MONOPOLY GO! by Scopely, Inc. had a varied performance. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $330K in mid-June and ending the quarter at $240K. Downloads saw minor ups and downs, ending the quarter with around 16K. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 70K in early April to 52K by the end of June.
