In the second quarter of 2024, dragon-themed games continued to captivate iOS users in the United States. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into the performance of the top dragon games, highlighting their downloads, revenue, and weekly active users (WAU).
Call of Dragons, published by Farlight Games, saw a fluctuating revenue trend with a peak of $1.5M mid-quarter, and consistent downloads, reaching a high of 132K in late April. The game's WAU peaked at 660K but ended the quarter with a slight dip to 478K.
DianDian Interactive Holding's Dragonscapes Adventure demonstrated a mixed revenue pattern, with its best week netting $1.3M. Downloads for the game peaked at 463K in mid-May, while WAU showed a robust increase, climbing to 3M by mid-June.
Frost & Flame: King of Avalon, from FunPlus International AG, recorded a revenue high of $788K in early May and maintained a steady download rate, with a peak of 98K in early June. The game's WAU remained fairly consistent, hovering around 590K throughout the quarter.
Gram Games' Merge Dragons! saw its revenue reach $582K in late May, while downloads spiked at 110K at the end of April. The game's WAU saw an uptick in late May, touching 950K.
Finally, Dragon Mania Legends by Gameloft experienced modest revenue growth, peaking at $384K in early April. Downloads for the game showed a slight decline, with a high of 65K in the first week of April, and WAU ended the quarter on a positive note at 334K.
