In Q2 2024, the top 5 Gacha games on iOS in Europe showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a detailed look at the data from Sensor Tower.
Last War:Survival saw significant revenue growth, peaking at around $1.9M in the week of June 10. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 167K in mid-April but declining to 134K by the end of June. Weekly active users consistently increased, starting at 705K at the beginning of April and ending at 884K in the last week of June.
Whiteout Survival maintained a strong revenue stream throughout the quarter, with the highest weekly revenue of approximately $1.5M in mid-June. Downloads had a notable increase, especially towards the end of June, peaking at 146K. Active users showed a steady rise, reaching 767K by the end of the quarter.
8 Ball Pool™ experienced a relatively stable revenue, averaging around $160K to $190K weekly. Downloads showed a slight decline, from 96K in early April to 64K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained high but dipped slightly, starting at 2.7M and ending at 2.3M.
Wuthering Waves, although new on the scene, saw an initial surge in downloads with 645K in its launch week in May, dropping to around 14K by the end of June. Revenue followed a similar trend, peaking at $455K in early June but decreasing to $259K by the end of the month. Active users also declined, from 583K in its launch week to 189K by the end of June.
Solo Leveling:Arise had a strong start with 544K downloads in its first week of May, but this number dropped significantly to around 22K by the end of June. Revenue also decreased from $706K in early May to $186K by the end of June. Despite these declines, weekly active users showed resilience, starting at 520K and ending at 450K.
