Interactive story games continue to captivate iOS users in the US, with various titles showing distinct trends in Q2 2024. Here's a snapshot of the performance of top applications in this category, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.
Episode - Choose Your Story by Episode Interactive showed an upward trend in revenue, peaking at $155K in the final week of June, while downloads varied, reaching a high of 123K in early June. Weekly active users (WAUs) saw a slight dip, ending the quarter at 618K.
SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD's Family Life! experienced a mix of ups and downs in revenue, with notable peaks of $103K and $148K, but also several weeks with no revenue. Downloads showed more consistency, with a peak at 73K in early June, and WAUs peaked at 115K in the same period.
Annapurna Interactive's Florence had negligible revenue with a small peak of $19K, while downloads saw a spike of 142K in mid-May. WAUs were only reported for a few weeks, with a maximum of 105K.
Netflix Stories, from Netflix, Inc., had no revenue to report for the quarter. Downloads peaked at 59K in late May, and WAUs showed growth from 50K to 63K before declining to 20K by the end of June.
Lastly, GossipMaster, also from SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD, showed no revenue after the first week of April. Downloads had a high of 54K in early April, and WAUs fluctuated, eventually stabilizing at 107K towards the end of the quarter.
