The second quarter of 2024 was an interesting period for merge games on the iOS platform. Sensor Tower's latest data reveals how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a snapshot of the performance of the top 5 merge games.
Travel Town - Merge Adventure saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at $5.7M in mid-May before dipping to $3.9M towards the end of June. Downloads hit a high of 697K in late April, while weekly active users saw a general decline from 2.6M to 1.9M over the quarter.
Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story experienced a steady revenue increase from $3M to $3.6M in late May, followed by a gradual decline to $3.1M by the quarter's end. The game's downloads saw a spike to 455K in late May, with weekly active users reaching a high of 1.2M that same week.
Seaside Escape®: Merge & Story also witnessed revenue growth, peaking at $3.1M in early June. Downloads surged to 363K in late May, while the number of active users saw a high of 1.6M during the same period, eventually settling at 1.1M by late June.
Merge Mansion showed an interesting revenue pattern with a significant jump to $3.9M in early May, followed by a steady decline and then another peak at $2.8M in late June. Downloads remained relatively low throughout the quarter. However, weekly active users saw a peak of 5.8M in late April, maintaining above 4.5M users throughout the quarter.
Merge Hotel Empire-Design Game had a more modest revenue, peaking at $1.1M in early June. Downloads reached their highest at 914K in late April, while active users showed a sharp increase to 2.1M at the end of April, with a slight decline to 924K by the end of June.
