As we step into the second half of 2024, it's time to look back at the performance of merge games on the iOS platform in the US during the second quarter. This analysis is based on the data provided by Sensor Tower, which offers in-depth insights into the app market.
Travel Town - Merge Adventure showed fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 1.7K in the first week of April and then declining to 468 by the end of June. Revenue for the game varied, with a significant peak of $8.1K in mid-June. Weekly active users started at 7.8K in April and saw a decrease to just under 5K by the end of June.
Merge Hotel Empire-Design Game experienced a steady revenue stream with a slight increase from $560 to $583 over the quarter. Downloads had a sharp rise in mid-April reaching 2.4K, but then saw a decline to 158 by late June. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, with an initial count of 2.4K that expanded to 5.2K before dropping to 2.3K.
For Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story, revenue showed an overall increase from $4.4K to $5.1K, despite some fluctuation. Downloads peaked at 1.9K in late April but fell to 403 by the end of June. Active users reached a high of 5.2K in the same period but decreased to 3.2K.
Seaside Escape®: Merge & Story saw a consistent revenue increase from $2.8K to $3.9K. Downloads spiked at 931 in late May, a significant increase compared to the start of the quarter. Active users showed a bit of instability, peaking at 3.7K before declining to 2.8K.
Lastly, Idle Racer — Tap, Merge & Race did not generate revenue in Q2 but had a notable start with downloads at 1.6K in the first week of April, which decreased to 130 by the end of June. Weekly active users started strong at 2.7K but slightly decreased to 1.9K over the quarter.
