Sensor Tower's analysis of the top five Pair Puzzle games on the iOS platform for Q2 2024 in the United States reveals interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Match Factory!, published by Peak Games from Turkey, showed a peak in revenue during mid-April with $1.65M, followed by a gradual decrease to $936K by the end of June. Downloads started strong at 4.35M in the first week of April but saw a downward trend, stabilizing around a few hundred thousand towards the quarter's end. Weekly active users also declined from 10.01M to 3.96M over the quarter.
Triple Match 3D by Boombox Games LTD experienced a steady increase in revenue from $389K to $612K, with a slight drop to $440K in the last week of June. Downloads showed fluctuations with a notable increase to 248K at the end of June. The game's active users saw a growth trend, starting at 1.08M and reaching 1.18M by the quarter's conclusion.
Voodoo's Block Jam 3D from France had an irregular revenue pattern, with a significant jump to $1.17M in the last week of June. Download numbers for this game were modest, oscillating around the low hundreds, but ended the quarter at a high of 416K. Weekly active users increased from 199K to 506K throughout the quarter.
Tile Family®:Match Puzzle Game, by German publisher Playflux, showed varied revenue figures, peaking at $356K in early June and then leveling to $252K by the quarter's end. Downloads had a spike in mid-April and late May, reaching over 1.2M, and active users ranged between 2.09M and 3.05M, ending on a strong note.
Lastly, Match Villa™: Makeup ASMR had minimal download activity, with the first recorded downloads appearing in June, totaling only 7 downloads for the quarter. Revenue for this game was modest but consistent, ranging from $256K to $75K, while weekly active users showed a slight decrease from 2.02M to 1.60M.
