In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 sandbox games on iOS in Hungary exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:
Roblox from Roblox Corporation experienced a steady revenue trend, starting at around $15.9K in early April and settling at approximately $11.2K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at 1.9K in the final week of June. Weekly active users saw a consistent increase, rising from 41K at the beginning of April to nearly 44.5K by the end of the quarter.
Minecraft by Mojang showed a notable increase in revenue, starting at $2.4K in early April and peaking at around $2.6K in the last week of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 250 per week. Active users exhibited a slight upward trend, beginning at 22.1K and reaching approximately 22.7K by the end of June.
Mini World: CREATA from Miniwan Tech had a more variable performance. Revenue peaked at $667 in the second week of April but generally fluctuated around lower values, ending at $85 in the final week of June. Downloads were minimal, with the highest weekly total being just 4 in mid-April.
Block Craft 3D: Building Games by Wildlife Studios experienced a modest revenue performance, starting at $127 and ending at $43 by late June. Downloads showed a peak of 267 in late April, while weekly active users saw a slight decline from 1.9K at the beginning of April to 1.3K by the end of June.
Finally, Terraria by 505 Games (US), Inc. had a relatively low yet steady revenue performance, with values fluctuating between $23 and $70 throughout the quarter. Downloads were minimal, with a peak of 5 in mid-May.
