2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the second quarter of 2024, the shooter game category on iOS in Australia saw varied performance among its top titles. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these engaging applications.
Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile, released in late March, started strong with downloads peaking at 19K in its first week but then saw a gradual decline to around 3K by the end of June. Its revenue followed a similar pattern, dropping from a high of $5.7K to $1.5K. Weekly active users also decreased from 39K to 17K over the quarter.
Tencent Mobile International Limited's PUBG MOBILE remained a strong performer with consistent revenue figures, although experiencing a slight downtrend from $208K to $133K. Downloads remained fairly stable, hovering around 5K per week, and weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 76K to 73K.
Call of Duty®: Mobile showed an interesting revenue trend with a peak of $137K in late April, followed by a dip and then a recovery to around $94K. Downloads and weekly active users experienced a modest rise towards the end of the quarter, with downloads reaching 5.5K and active users nearing 58K.
Hunting Sniper: Showdown saw its revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at $14.5K mid-June. Downloads remained under 4K, with a slight uptick towards the end of June. Active users showed a modest increase, finishing the quarter at around 6.3K.
Finally, Free Fire: 7th Anniversary maintained a steady stream of revenue, peaking at $9.6K in late May, while downloads and weekly active users saw a slight upward trend, ending at 3.8K and 35.6K, respectively.
