We’ve acquired Video Game Insights (VGI)!
The second quarter of 2024 saw notable performances from the top 5 adventure games on a unified platform in Poland. These insights, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveal the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for each app.
Genshin Impact showed a dynamic quarter with revenue peaking at around $37K in late April. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 3.6K in the same period. Weekly active users varied, starting at 101K and peaking at 124K before settling at around 95K by the end of June.
Solo Leveling:Arise, launched in early May, saw an initial surge with 49K downloads and $20K in revenue. However, both metrics declined over the quarter, with downloads dropping to 625 and revenue falling to about $6K by late June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 40K.
Wuthering Waves, which debuted in late May, experienced an initial spike with 39K downloads and $15K in revenue. These numbers gradually decreased, with downloads at 2K and revenue just over $10K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 35K and decreasing to 16K.
Unsolved: Hidden Mystery Games from Artifex Mundi S.A. saw a steady decline in both downloads and revenue throughout Q2 2024. Downloads started at 5.3K and dropped to 1K, while revenue decreased from $9.9K to $3.4K. Weekly active users also saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at around 11K.
Summoners War maintained relatively stable weekly active users around 5K. Revenue saw a significant spike to $6.6K in early June but generally hovered between $2K and $5K. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, peaking at 260.
