In Q2 2024, the top 5 anime games in Sweden displayed diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these popular titles fared:
Solo Leveling:Arise from Netmarble Corporation, though only released in early May, saw a significant start. Weekly revenue started strong at around $12K and then gradually declined to about $3.3K by the end of June. Downloads also dropped from nearly 9.7K in the first week to 436 by the last week of June. Despite this, the game maintained a relatively stable active user base, fluctuating between 8.5K and 10K throughout the quarter.
DRAGON BALL LEGENDS by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. experienced a notable spike in revenue in late May, reaching approximately $11K, before stabilizing around $6.3K towards the end of June. Downloads saw a peak in mid-June at 509, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 6.4K to 6.8K throughout the quarter.
ONE PIECE Bounty Rush, another title from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., showed varied performance. Revenue peaked in late May at about $2.6K but fluctuated significantly, settling around $515 by the end of June. Downloads were relatively low, peaking at 448 in early May and hovering around 163 to 177 towards the end of the quarter. Active users ranged from 2.2K to 3.1K, indicating a dedicated user base.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel by KONAMI maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $1.2K in early April and stabilizing around $483 by the end of June. Downloads were steady, with minor fluctuations, staying within the range of 103 to 169. Active users showed minimal variation, consistently around 1K to 1.1K, demonstrating a loyal player base.
Finally, Black Clover M from GARENA INTERNATIONAL II PRIVATE LIMITED had a modest performance. Revenue peaked at $765 in mid-April but experienced a decline, ending at $324 by late June. Downloads were low, peaking at 247 in mid-April and dropping to 51 by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 2.7K to 3.3K.
