The second quarter of 2024 saw notable activity among the top cryptocurrency apps in Europe on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Tonkeeper experienced a significant increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 1.5M in early June before stabilizing at around 460K by the end of the quarter. Revenue also saw a steady rise, reaching up to $6.4K in early June and then tapering off to about $2.6K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a substantial increase from 192K at the beginning of April to a peak of 2.6M in mid-June, before decreasing to 1.8M by the end of the quarter.
Binance maintained strong download numbers throughout Q2, starting at 270K in early April and peaking at 617K in early June, before settling at 298K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained high, starting at 4.9M in early April, peaking at 5.7M in early June, and concluding the quarter at 4.5M.
Bybit’s downloads showed a steady climb, starting at 163K in early April and reaching a high of 486K in early June, before declining to 147K by the end of June. Weekly active users increased from 904K at the start of April to a peak of 1.5M in early June, then decreased to 1.1M by the end of the quarter.
Phantom saw fluctuating download numbers throughout Q2, starting at 180K in early April, peaking at 410K in late May, and ending the quarter at 52K. Weekly active users also varied, beginning at 323K in early April, peaking at 724K in late May, and stabilizing at 530K by the end of June.
Trust Wallet's downloads showed consistent growth from 85K in early April to a peak of 142K in late May, ending the quarter at 95K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 1.2M in early April, peaking at 1.3M in early June, and closing the quarter at 1.2M.
