Q2 2024 Dining and Restaurants App Trends in a Unified Platform

In the second quarter of 2024, the dining and restaurant app category continued to engage users across the unified platform. At Sensor Tower, we've observed the trends of the leading apps in this space. Let's dive into their performances.

McDonald’s - Non-US showed a significant uptick in downloads, starting at 16K in the first week of April and reaching a peak of 170K in the third week of May. Weekly active users also grew steadily from 333K to a peak of 588K in the same period, before stabilizing around 435K by the end of June.

Domino's Pizza Türkiye experienced a surge in downloads in the second week of April with 41K, followed by fluctuations that eventually steadied at around 28K by late June. Weekly active users peaked at 249K in the second week of April, with a slight decrease to 199K by the end of June.

The performance of Starbucks Türkiye was consistent, with downloads ranging from 13K to 19K throughout the quarter. The active user base remained robust, starting at 242K and reaching a high of 256K in late May, before closing the quarter at 233K.

KFC Türkiye – Yemek Siparişi had a more modest quarter, with downloads starting at 8K and experiencing a spike to 12K in mid-June. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, beginning at 34K, dipping mid-quarter, and then rising back to around 28K.

Little Caesars Türkiye saw downloads peak at 9.6K in the second week of April, followed by a gradual decline and then a slight recovery to 7.4K by the end of June. Active users for this app were not reported.
