In the second quarter of 2024, dragon-themed games continued to engage users on the unified platform. Sensor Tower's data offers detailed insights into the performance of these apps.
Dragon City - Breed & Battle! from Socialpoint saw a fluctuating revenue trend with a peak of $5.85M in early April, eventually settling at $2.66M by the end of June. Downloads began at 23K and had a downward trend, ending at 8K. The weekly active users started strong at 206K but dipped to 179K over the quarter.
Call of Dragons, by Farlight Games, experienced a revenue range from $2.01M to $1.58M. Downloads for the game hovered around the lower thousands, peaking at 1.16K in mid-June. Weekly active users showed a modest increase from 8K to 8.7K.
FunPlus International AG's Frost & Flame: King of Avalon saw its revenue move between $1.28M and $1.78M. Downloads were relatively low, with a peak of 570 in mid-May. Weekly active users varied, starting at 1.7K and ending the quarter at 1.65K.
Gram Games' Merge Dragons! generated revenue ranging from $466K to $658K. Downloads showed a spike of 830 in late April but generally stayed below 600. Weekly active users saw a peak of 3.5K in late April, ending slightly lower at 2.5K by the quarter's close.
Lastly, DianDian Interactive Holding's Dragonscapes Adventure had revenues that increased over the quarter, starting at $312K and reaching $543K in early June before dropping to $394K. Downloads showed significant growth, from 111 to 1.23K in June, with weekly active users growing from 2.6K to 3.9K.
