During the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 entertainment mascot games in Costa Rica displayed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users on a unified platform. Here, we break down the performance of each game, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Sonic Dash Endless Runner Game from SEGA showed a steady rise in downloads, peaking at around 2.6K in late May and early June. Revenue varied significantly, starting strong with approximately $62K in early April but stabilizing around $30K by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a notable increase, reaching up to 31.8K in early June, before slightly declining to 27.6K by the end of the quarter.
Hello Kitty Nail Salon by Budge Studios experienced fluctuating download numbers, peaking at about 2.3K in early June. Revenue had a significant peak at $122K in late May, stabilizing around $103K by the end of June. Weekly active users increased from 9.5K in early April to a peak of around 10.3K in mid-June, before dropping to 7.5K by the quarter's end.
Minion Rush: Running game from Gameloft saw a notable peak in downloads at 2.2K in mid-June. Revenue also showed a significant spike, reaching $63K in mid-June. Weekly active users fluctuated but remained relatively stable, peaking at 6.8K in early June.
Sonic Forces PvP Racing Battle, another title from SEGA, displayed consistent performance with downloads peaking at 1.2K in early April and mid-June. Revenue saw a major spike in mid-April at $223K, stabilizing around $84K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 9.9K in early April before settling around 6.9K by the end of the quarter.
Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom, also from SEGA, had a stable download trend, peaking at 723 in late May. Revenue fluctuated mildly, peaking at $21K in early June. Weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, reaching a peak of 3K in early June.
