With the second quarter of 2024 behind us, Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the leading fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Costa Rica. The unified data from both iOS and Android platforms gives us a comprehensive look at user engagement and app popularity.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting with around 9K in the first week of April and peaking at 15K by the end of May. Weekly active users began at approximately 75K, with a high point of nearly 80K users in the latter half of May.
Burger King Costa Rica's downloads exhibited a significant spike, jumping from around 2K to over 12K at the end of April and again towards the end of May. Weekly active users saw modest growth, from 136 at the start of April to a peak of 249 in early June.
Papa John's Costa Rica experienced a steady download count, with numbers ranging from 1.7K to 2.6K across the quarter. The app's weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 102 in early April to 175 by the end of May.
Pizza Hut CR downloads saw an impressive leap in mid-May, with a sevenfold increase from 1.7K to over 6K. Active users were consistent, hovering around 7K-9K, with a notable surge to approximately 14K in mid-May.
Taco App CR showed a gradual increase in downloads, starting at just over 1K and growing to 1.3K by the end of the quarter. The trend for weekly active users was not provided.
