In the second quarter of 2024, the US market saw varied performances among top fitness and weight loss applications on the unified platform. Below is a snapshot of their activities as reported by Sensor Tower.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter experienced a fluctuating revenue with a peak of $2.3M in early April, and a lowest point of $1.6M by the end of June. Downloads showed a descending trend from 1.2M to 797K, while weekly active users slightly increased from 22.9M to 23.5M.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike saw its revenue oscillate, reaching a high of $2M in early May before settling at $1.6M at the quarter's end. Downloads decreased from 1M to 676K, and the weekly active users count remained relatively stable, starting at 29.4M and ending at 30.7M.
JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit generated revenue with a high of $1.1M mid-April but dipped to $482K in late June. The app saw a gradual decrease in downloads from 1.1M to 494K. However, weekly active users showed an upward trend from 3.4M to 3.3M.
Dancefitme: Fun Workouts maintained a modest revenue between $524K and $634K with a dip in mid-April. Downloads had a notable spike in late April reaching 728K, but then fell to 369K. Active users peaked at 1.1M also in late April but normalized to 804K by the end of June.
AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run saw revenue that varied, starting at $501K, peaking at $525K in early June, and then closing the quarter at $419K. Downloads experienced a rise in late April to 730K before descending to 405K. Weekly active users had a high of 2.2M in the beginning of April, ending at 1.5M.
