In the second quarter of 2024, European users continued to focus on health and wellness, as reflected in the performance of the top food and diet tracking applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides an insight into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
YAZIO experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at nearly $690K in the second week of April and dipping to around $605K by mid-June. Downloads saw a high in early June with over 168K, while weekly active users peaked at over 3.5M at the beginning of June.
MyFitnessPal showed a steady revenue pattern, with a notable peak of nearly $487K in the first week of June. Downloads hovered around the 90K mark, while active users reached a high of over 3.2M in mid-April.
Calorie Counter + by NutraTech Ltd saw revenue growth in mid-April at $264K, followed by a gradual decline to around $221K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users grew to over 136K in mid-April, with downloads peaking at 25K in the second week of April.
Lifesum garnered revenues that oscillated, with an early April high of over $211K, and a dip to $170K in mid-June. Downloads saw a significant spike at 66K in mid-April, while weekly active users reached over 1M in the same period.
WeightWatchers Program observed its highest revenue at the beginning of April, just over $162K, and maintained a generally steady income throughout the quarter. Downloads stayed below 16K, while active users saw a modest increase from 90K to over 96K in late April.
