In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 Food and Drink apps in Sweden showcased varying performance trends on the unified platform. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user metrics.
foodora: Food & Groceries maintained a stable download rate, starting with 9.1K downloads in early April and peaking at 10.2K in early June. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, beginning at 111K in April and ending at around 103K by late June.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste began the quarter strong with 11.4K downloads, but saw a gradual decline, finishing with approximately 7.5K downloads in late June. Active users showed a more stable trend, starting at 234K and peaking at 250K in mid-April before settling around 242K.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting at 8.7K and reaching 10.5K by mid-June. Active user numbers mirrored this growth, rising from 61K in early April to around 66K by the end of June.
McDonald’s - Non-US saw consistent download growth throughout the quarter, beginning at 6.7K and peaking at 8.1K in mid-June. Active users showed significant fluctuations, starting at 179K in early April and reaching a high of 271K by late May before declining to 236K by the end of June.
ICA – recept och erbjudanden showed a steady download trend, starting at 7.3K and peaking at 8.4K in mid-June. Active users also remained stable, starting at 112K and peaking at 114K by mid-June, before slightly dipping to 113K by the end of the quarter.
