Q2 2024 Performance of Top Food Delivery Apps in Brazil

In the second quarter of 2024, Brazil's food delivery service app market saw interesting trends in user engagement and downloads across the top platforms. The data, gathered by Sensor Tower, reveals how these apps have fared in a competitive landscape.

iFood comida e mercado em casa maintained a strong presence, with downloads fluctuating around the 280K to 310K mark. Weekly active users showed a more positive trajectory, starting at 11.4M and reaching a peak of over 12.2M by the end of April, before settling around 11.7M towards the end of June.

For iFood para Entregadores, downloads saw a steady increase from 42K to over 52K in early June, followed by a slight dip towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users exhibited stability, hovering around the 230K range throughout the quarter.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery experienced a gradual increase in downloads from 17K to 28K by the end of June. Weekly active users started strong at 585K, dipped mid-quarter to around 528K, and then showed recovery, climbing back up to approximately 535K.

Vivino: Buy the Right Wine showcased modest revenue figures, beginning at $5.7K and peaking at $11.1K in late April. Downloads ranged from approximately 4.3K to 8.9K, with weekly active users starting at around 48.9K and peaking at 58.3K towards the end of May.

Lastly, Uber Eats Orders displayed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 5.8K and decreasing to 4.3K in early May, followed by a slight recovery to 5.3K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, with a slight increase from 34K to 35K over the quarter.
