State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In Q2 of 2024, the US food delivery service apps continued to engage customers on both iOS and Android platforms. Data from Sensor Tower offers insights into the performance of the top applications in this category.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more showed consistent engagement with weekly active users peaking at 138K in mid-June, although downloads saw a slight dip towards the end of the quarter, stabilizing at around 3K to 3.7K per week.
Swiggy Food, Grocery & Dineout experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a notable spike to 4.4K in early May before settling to just over 2.6K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users gradually increased, reaching a high of 6.8K in the third week of June.
Glovo: Food Delivery and More maintained a steady base of weekly active users, starting at around 102K and growing to 112K by mid-June. Downloads ranged from 2.5K to 3.3K per week, with a noticeable uptick in the last week of the quarter.
foodpanda: food & groceries saw a varied download trend, peaking at 2K in early May and then again at 1.7K in early June. Active users showed a slight growth from 38K to 40.5K over the quarter.
Lastly, Uber Eats: Food Delivery had the lowest number of weekly downloads among the top apps, with numbers ranging between 1K and 1.9K. The app's active users remained relatively stable, with a slight peak at 23.5K in the final week of June.
