In the competitive landscape of food delivery services, the second quarter of 2024 has shown varying performance across major players. Sensor Tower's data reveals how these apps have fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.
PedidosYa - Delivery Online experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at approximately 10K in the first week of April and peaking at nearly 13K by mid-June. Weekly active users showed a slight increase over the quarter, from 213K to 225K.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery witnessed a gentle dip in downloads, initiating at around 1.8K and descending to 1.5K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 33K throughout the quarter.
Swiggy Food, Grocery & Dineout saw downloads begin at approximately 1.8K, with a notable drop by the end of June to just 75. Active users mirrored this decline, starting at 13.9K and decreasing to 12.4K.
foodpanda: food & groceries also experienced a downward trend in downloads, with an initial count of over 600 which fell to just 115 by late June. The app's weekly active users saw a slight decline from 15K to 13.8K over the same period.
DoorDash - Food Delivery maintained a relatively consistent download rate, starting at 430 and ending the quarter at 345. Weekly active users saw a modest increase from 5.8K to 6.2K.
